Default Re: A night in the bordeaux wine region

Hi Gary
While I can't give any first-hand accounts of lodging in Bordeaux region, I have a friend who stayed at this hotel and was very happy. He thought it was a nice quality/price ratio. He was more interested in the golfing than the wine (his wife the other way around) but if you're in Bordeaux area, I assume the wine will provide a great time.

As for Paris...there's a whole Pandora's Box waiting to be opened! I'll simply speak of the one hotel I've stayed at, L'Hôtel Parc Saint-Séverin. Reasonably priced and a GREAT location. The only thing about this one is (and this didn't happen to me) I read that reservations have been lost so it's probably in your best interests to call and confirm after making your reserve. And if you're a fondue fan, there's a pretty great restaurant next door (sorry, I don't remember the name).

But really there are so many great (and quaint) hotels in Paris that it's almost like shooting fish in a barrel. Let us know how the trip goes!
