Default Re: Cape Cod In April

jackyj,
Keep in mind that Cape Cod in April is on the cool, rainy side. If you are hoping to go swimming, look to stay at a place with an indoor pool. With children of your age range, I'd recommend a drive to Provincetown and a Whale Watch Trip. First choice is the Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch Cruise. Even your 15 year old will love it. On your way back from the tip of the Cape, visit the Marconi Station Site in Wellfleet(historic) and the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center in Eastham.
Some seasonal restaurants won't yet be open so you won't have the selection you would have during the summer months. I hope you enjoy your trip but if you are looking for a moonlight walk on a Cape Cod beach in April, bring your winter jacket.
