Rome is quite safe --- in fact, it is ranked as the safest European city, even safer than Bern Switzerland -- so you can stay anywhere and enjoy the beautiful illumination of the the city at night, but I urge you to stay close to the Pantheon since you will want to make the most of your short time in Rome, and the stroll around that area, which is mercifully flat!, is lovely, lovely at night. |
