The apartment building is in Huchette street, a small animated pedestrian street in the heart of the Latin Quarter, one of the oldest districts of central Paris. This is a 4th floor apartment, without elevator (the stairwell is not difficult. Despite being in a lively central area, the apartment is high enough from street level and includes double gazed windows, as well as bedroom on the courtyard side : this is a quiet apartment.
From the apartment's front door, you walk into a small entryway with storage areas for clothing. The entry leads directly to the bathroom area on the left and straight ahead into the large kitchen-living area that looks out onto the street.

The closest metro station, a 3 minute walk from the apartment, is the Saint Michel metro stop, which also has direct RER train access to the airports and also to the Gare du Nord train station. The Seine river and Notre Dame Cathedral can be reached on foot in 5 minutes and Boulevard Saint Germain is also only a couple minutes walk from the apartment.
Many restaurants and cafes in this lively area; and local shopping for groceries is easy to find in the immediate neighborhood.
