Hi - I was wondering, I am planning a trip to come into Germany via Venice, Italy by car. The original plan was to rent a car and drive the romantic road, eventually making our way to Munich for the opening fesitivities on Sept. 20th Oktoberfest 2008.
Is there a route that would make sense by automobile? From Venice, through some cities on the romantic road, and then into Munich? Any help would be great! (Also, wondering if I need a reservation in a tent for just 2 of us travelers)?
