There are lots of
things to do in Alaska depending on which area you are travelling to.
In the interior region you have the choice of the Georgeson Botanical Garden, The University of Alaska Museum, El Dorado Goldmine, Greatland River Tours, Riverboat Discovery, Fairbanks Ice Museum and The Carlson Centre.
In the South West there are more museums. The Kodiak Military History Museum, The Kodiak Baranov Museum, Alutiiq Museum and Archaelogical Repository and the Museum of the Aleutians. Also here you can take part in the Dig Afognak Archeological Expedition.
South Central the list is endless. More Botanical Gardens, several museums, The Big Game Alaska Wildlife Centre, Alazka Zoo, Sealife Centre, Prince William Sound Science Centre and Kachemak Bay
Wilderness Lodge.
Finally in the Inside Passage region there are again several museums, the Alaska Raptor Centre, Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure, Klondike Gold Dredge Tours, Mount Roberts Tramwat and the Scenic Railroad trips.
