hi george, I recommend "Medow park" which is located on the main road out of Christchurch heading north. It's very close to the airport and the central city, has excellent facilities. I have stayed in Medow park couple of times and was very impressed. It has park like setting including play ground, jumping pillow and indoor heated swimming pool. You have many choices but this is great fun place and you can find them easily in 39 Meadow Street, contact them on +64 3 352 9176 and make your reservation.
