Default Re: Angkor Wat tours

When we were in Siem Reap, we asked our hotel people to arrange a guide and driver for us for 2 days to visit the places in and around Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. We paid only $25/day and we were happy and enjoyed the places.

To visit the Angkor Watitself, 1/2 a day is sufficient. Ofcourse it's big, 120 sq. miles but you can complete with in a day or half. To avoid the crowd and get a beautiful view just go before the sun rise. This temple of the Angkorian region has dominating towers, intricate carvings in the walls, courtyards, passageways and many things to explore, but everything is wonderful. It's well worth a visit and you don't need a guide to visit Angkor Wat, just visit by yourself. Just rent car and visit some more sites in addition to Angkor Wat. Have a nice trip to largest religious monument of Cambodia and enjoy your day!
