Re: Things to do in Mobile, AL hi shelly, how r u?
My recent trip to Mobile, AL was nice and here are some of my suggestions. Downtown Mobile is a good place to visit and he can start his tour from Fort Conde Museum which is a replica of the original fort, built in early 1700's and admission is free. Then goto Bellingrath Gardens which has a butterfly garden, rose garden, rockery, formal gardens, Oriental and American gardens, mirror lake and conservatory riverfront walk. Explore the Battle Ship Alabama and visit Dauphin Island if he extends his stay. This Dauphin Island is only 33 miles from Mobile, so ask your brother not to miss this beautiful island.
And there is no better seafood than on the Alabama coast. So while he'll be in town be sure to enjoy some Alabama wild shrimp. yummmy! Hope he will enjoy his stay in Mobile. |
