I think your brother can only visit some of the beaches, historic Sites, museums, zoos, Aquariums & reserves and not many within 2 days.

As roccs said the Dauphin Island is a wonderful place to visit and the beach too. Gulf Shore is more popular getaway spot of ALabama and it offers offers several opportunities to enjoy its attractive shoreline. Fort Gaines, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Historic Blakely State Park are some of the historical sites he can visit. Covey my wishes to your brother!
