I was so pleased we took the chance to go to Grenada. Grenada is an amazing eco-destination once you get out of St Georges. As previously mentioned their dollar is almost on a 3:1 ratio which isn't bad. We didn't find the prices there to be expensive at all.
The North was remarkable, but again you have to take a drive. There was fantastic snorkeling and the beaches there are to die for, specially Sandy Island, with Shadow Fax. ( Very cool 66ft Catamaran)
I also think Carriacou, in the Grenadines is an amazing island. It's only a water ferry away from St. Georges and isn't that crowded. Most of the island is undeveloped, I found this website pretty helpful, when I called, grenada info and activities .com |
