If you look at the pages on Things to do in Delaware you will find some ideas of places to visit while in Wilmington.

I have taken a look for myself and have found that you could check out the Wilmington Railroad, the Rockford Tower, the Old Swedes Church abnd if you dont mind a 10 mile drive there is also the Brandywine River Museum.

For accommodation the page about Wilmington Hotels will help. There are several places listed here and the one you choose will depend on budget and the best location. I hope this helped.
