My family is planning a trip to Orange Beach in May, 2009 and we are looking at condos at White Caps or Pelican Pointe. Mainly we want a direct view of the gulf -- but like everyone -- we want a clean condo and I find recommendations from others to be quite helpful. Could anyone give me some advice? Thank you.

Hi there, Most of the Orange Beach Alabama accommodations can be found near the beach and they offer great views of the gulf. The Clearwater Beach condo resort in Pelican Pointe is located 500 feet from the beach and offers great views of the Gulf. It includes an outdoor pool, concierge desk, laundry facilities, parking, kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwaves, etc. It has good recommendations and seems a nice neat choice for families. Another great example is Caribe the Resort which sits right on the Perdido Bay,they offer hundreds of condo units to choose from along with fully-equipped kitchens, great area views, a spacious private balcony, air-conditioning, a wet bar, Direct TV, high-speed internet access, and more. The Phoenix All Suites Hotel is a mid-rise beachfront hotel and offers one bedroom condos with balcony that looks out over the Gulf of Mexico. The suites offer a fully-equipped kitchen, cable TV, one and a half bathrooms, etc. There is a small pool at the Phoenix All Suites Hotel and the beach is very close by as well. For the convenience, the comfort, and the price, it's hard to top the Phoenix All Suites Hotel when considering Gulf Shores Lodging. Hope this helps VacationBuddy Last edited by VacationBuddy; 03-18-2009 at 03:43 AM. Reason: more info

Thank you very much for the info. My family made the decision for me and decided on a condo at White Caps condos. Are you familiar with this particular condominium or can anyone tell me if it is a nice place? Don't want to worry about this until our trip in May. Thanks for any info. Cjnspc
