|  summer events in Florence Alabama hey guys, This summer will be jetting out to Florence Alabama for the first time and I am researching things to do there and stuff...I wanted to ask if anyone could suggest summer events in Florence Alabama? thanks so much! |

Handy Music Festival is widely considered to be the most popular of summer events in Florence Alabama. The W.C. Handy Festival takes place in late July, and during its week-long run, you can expect to catch a lot of live blues and jazz performances. Some notable blues and jazz artists are known to show up for this lively event. Also, every year in June, the Helen Keller Festival happens in Ivy Green, which is a weeklong event that honors Keller's life and achievements. |
