Red face Girdwood

Can anyone tell me how far the train station is in Girdwood from the big hotel where you get the tram? Also, I'd love to know about the trails at the top of the mountain from where you get off the tram.
Thanks,
Cass

Hi Cass,

Your looking at about 4-6KM. The trails are right off the tram.

Thanks...Wow. I didn't know it was that far. I assume they have taxis or busses?

What are the trails like up there? Are there bears? (skeered of bears)

Not sure about the bears but they are everywhere in Alaska. Make alot of noise while your walking most don't like people! Transo won't be a problem as there's always someone going to the Resort.
