Cool Winter Activities in Anchorage

I've just moved to Anchorage from the UK. My boyfriend was planning on coming across in April for a week. I've been trying to plan some activities for us to do but I am having trouble, it seems like most things don't start up until May/June. Any ideas?

Default Re: Winter Activities in Anchorage

Anchorage is a good winter destination with spectacular opportunities for people who would like to do skiing, snowmobiling and dog sledding trips. Always late August and September are generally a better time to visit Anchorage. If your boyfriend is coming in early April, then it is also a great time to enjoy the Anchorage winter activities from aurora watching to dog mushing. Have a nice time with your boyfriend!
