I will be in Alaska in June (southern part: Anchorage, Seward, Homer etc.)- Where is the best Kayaking!!???

Also, if you have any idea as to the best deals for a 3 day trip- any input is great!

The best Kayaking experience I had in Alaska had to have been on the Fox Island Wilderness Lodge Kayaking and Wildlife Cruise less than 20 miles away Seward. They've got a bunch of different combinations in the cruises and day trips. Some last half a day, some the whole day. Personally, I had done the whole day trip. The trip didn't require any kayaking skills, though, I'm sure you've got some trips under your belt if you're looking for the best areas. It's an active tour for anywhere up to 13 miles of paddling. Anyway, check it out.

Destination360 has great information on finding Alaska Kayaking. One of which is the Fox Island Wilderness Lodge Kayaking and Wildlife Cruise wcptraveler had been to. However, I would recommend Alaska River Kayaking in Keystone Canyon. Great history, waterfalls, and geology. What's not to love...

Not personally, though, I have heard good things about Kachemak Bay State Park. You'll need to find a water taxi to get you there as there are no roads to get there. It's Alaska's first state park. Plenty of opportunities to observe the seals, whales, sea otters and porpoise. Note that they say the bay can be rough at times and you'll have to wait it out before it's safe so being that it's a remote place, make sure you've got enough food to wait it out.
