You can fish in October and November if you're a fowl weather fisherman. The weather this time of year gets pretty bad so be prepared. If you wait long enough could do some ice fishing.

Here's a good state fishing link.

The best time of the year to fish on the Kenai peninsula is near the end of July for sockeye and chinook salmon. In August and September you will find coho salmon. october some steelhead, dollies and trout. There is also and early run of sockeye and chinook that come in in June but July is by far my favorite month to fish on the Kenai Peninsula.

Hi elisern, Taking a Fishing trip Alaska is a thing you should add in your ‘to do list’ whenever you go to Alaska. The fishing season in Salmon starts from May through early September. The Fishing trip Alaska bags you different varieties of fishes depending on the month you go for fishing, May and June for King Salmon and Chinook, Early July for Silver Salmon and King Salmon and mid July through August and early September is popular for Silver Salmon and Coho. If you’re planning your Fishing trip Alaska in the month of September, plan it early. Hope this helps.
