|  What are the most interesting places in Alaska to visit? I want to visit Alaska but I don't have any idea of the places there. I have heard a lot about Alaska that's why I want to visit Alaska. Can anybody here give me the relevant information. |

Hi there, If you like to know a bit about Alaskan history then, these places might be of interest: * The Kodiak Baranov Museum * The Alutiiq Museum * The Archeological Repository To check out Alaskan wildlife such as sea lions, puffins, birds, etc; you can visit: * The Alaska Raptor Center * The Imaginarium * The Alaska Sealife Center Also, If you want to experience Alaska a bit more up-close and personal, I would definitely suggest going for a kayaking trip and a dog sled ride. It depends on your choice, left i can suggest some place like: Anchorage, Big Delta and Delta Junction, Chatanika,Chena Hot Springs,Coldfoot, Denali National Park are some famous places to visit. Just across the lake from Alaska: Atlin, BC is Gold mine, hot spot for visit. Fairbanks's two premier attractions tap into the Gold Rush Era & Eldorado Gold Mine. University of Alaska Museum of the North, The Large Animal Research Station, Georgeson Botanical Garden can be good options for Scholar persons. Enjoy the beauty of Alaska. -- oliver |

I like Alaska because of its spectacular mountain vistas, abundant wildlife, glaciers, vast expanses of sub-arctic tundra, and North America's highest mountain, Mt McKinley, Denali National Park and Preserve. Selection of the spots or package depends upon personal liking. |
