Red face Question on Alaska

Hi Everybody,
I'm checking out a vacation for the weekend to Alaska for my 21st birthday. I just want to know a few things if I'm going to start planning.

1) Is it cheaper to just go on a cruise or fly in for the weekend and stay in a hotel?

2) What is there to do in Alaska that I can fit into three days?

I'm from in island in the Caribbean and I have no idea what to expect if I go.

Default Re: Question on Alaska

Hi there,

I would suggest flying to Alaska and booking yourself into a hotel to be able to expereince this magical place up close. For convenience, most people choose to take flights to Anchorage (Alaska) and land in Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Depending when you are traveling to Alaska you can expect ticket prices to range between $800 to $1100.

When you travel to Alaska you will be amazed by the natural beauty of the land and the wilderness that you can get so close to. Alaska is filled with exciting things to do and here are some activities you can consider during your three day stay:

* A Kayaking trip
* A dog sledding ride
* Heli-skiing
* Whale watching

Hope this helps
