|  Going to Algeria with...need advice This year we are planning a family trip to Algeria with our baby and I am nervous about safety and would like any tips? Should my toddler go on her US passport with a visa or should we apply for an Algerian passport for her? I'm thinking the US one in case some horrible thing happens and I need to get her out of the country Thanks. |

| Re: Going to Algeria with...need advice Safety wise, you don't have to worry going to Algeria so you won't have to worry about your and your kid's safety at all. I know an English lady married to an Algerian man and she's been on her own in the country many times with her kids and loves it there! Regarding passports, if you held an Algerian passport, you could put your kid on your passport so they wouldn't have to pay for the visa fee. Otherwise, you will have to get a tourist visa which costs around $40 for approximately 30 days. |
