Argentina

Argentina is filled with lush rainforests, wild animals, and mountainous terrain. Transportation is key with such a large country, many tourists choose to take a train few travel by car. For the outdoor enthusiasts, Argentina is home to the Andes Mountains. Enjoy trekking trips, skiing or snowboarding.

Default What are the most fascinating places in Argintina

I am going to Argintina for a conference. I will have a couple of free days. What would you advice to visit? Where did you get the most bright impression? Thank you in advance

My personal top Argentina destinations:

#1 Igauazu Fall (you will need 2 days)
#2 Patagobia (at least 4days)
#3 Bariloche (3days)

hope this helps!

I would add the Tigre Delta. It will really change your view of Buenos Aires...

Definitely check out the falls. I've seen pictures. I'm sure you'll love it!

My favorite destination in Argentina is El Chalten that can be combined with a visit to El Calafate. El Chalten is known as the Trekking Capital of Argentina, it is a small mountain village located about 200km from El Calafate (accessible by bus, 5-hour ride) and surrounded by the Andes Range and the Patagonian Steppe, with gorgeous views of Mounts Fitz Roy and Torre. There are several paths to trek and pretty nice excursions including ice trekking on the Torre and Viedma Glaciers. The best seasons to visit the village are South American Spring and Summer (October to April). Enjoy!
