Travel from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires

I'm planning a visit to South America, and the first destination will be Brazil. We're planning to depart from Sao Paoulo for Buenos Aires. Can someone recommend the best way to make this trip and some suggestions on the best time of year to do it?

I'd recommend stopping by the Iguazzu Falls since you are traveling from Brazil to Buenos Aires. You can easily get to the Falls by bus from Sao Paulo, from Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), or even Foz do Iguazu (Brazil) in about the same time.

What's your budget btw? Just letting you know that bus travel is the way to go in South America, though you need to know what bus companies to use. In Argentina I'd highly recommend travellign with the bus company Via Bariloche. And, in Brazil, travel with Pluma.
