Argentina

Argentina is filled with lush rainforests, wild animals, and mountainous terrain. Transportation is key with such a large country, many tourists choose to take a train few travel by car. For the outdoor enthusiasts, Argentina is home to the Andes Mountains. Enjoy trekking trips, skiing or snowboarding.

Wink Argentina Bus Company

Hello everybody:
I've heard that in Argentina there is a bus company called Aconquija,I beleive that it operates along the Calchaqui Valley(I may be wrong),I was told that this bus ticket would allow the
passenger to to get on and off as many times,as he/she wishes, therefore the chance to visit small towns along the way.Are any of you familiar with such company?any of you have tried it?am I right to beleive
that I have the right information?.Many thanks once again for your reply...........parigi.

Thumbs up Re: Argentina Bus Company

Hi!! Sorry if I'm answering a bit late... yes, there's a company called Aconquija and it goes from Tucuman to Cafayate... there's a ticket that you can pay and alows you to get on and off as many times ad you want so you can visit small tows like Tafi, Amaicha del Valle or Quilmes on the way to Cafayate... I have used it while traveling in the area, buses are ok, not splendid full reclinable seats like those going between big cities and Buenos Aires, but are ok... Don't remembember the cost now... =)

Default Re: Argentina Bus Company

Is this a special service for tourists, or a regular bus line? Sounds interesting. When I was in Salta and wanted to go to Cachi I decided not to go by bus, since it would have been an ordinary local bus - and you really want to stop at some places and take a picture of the landscape, rather than watching the scenery passing by through a dirty bus window...
