Argentina Argentina is filled with lush rainforests, wild animals, and mountainous terrain. Transportation is key with such a large country, many tourists choose to take a train few travel by car. For the outdoor enthusiasts, Argentina is home to the Andes Mountains. Enjoy trekking trips, skiing or snowboarding.

We are currently at an impasse with a travel company. The online comany ABS Travel has offered a fare for two persons from AEP-VDM and CPC-AEP for $560US. I have repeatedly requested information about our eligibility as US citizens for this rate. Somehow it seems I cannot read the fine print until I agree to their terms and conditions by purchasing the ticket. Can you recommend another travel company? We are currently planning to make a five day side trip from BA via plane, train, rental car through the Lake District and fly back to BA. Any suggestions or confirmation of this fare base would be extremely appreciated! Thanks!

| Maybe I can be of help, I am part of the www.peruforless.com team and can actually quote you for those flights you have requested. Our wholesale has great deals for flights in South America and I will gladly check what good deals she can prepare for you. What are your tentative dates? Richard Leon

Dear Richard, Thank you for answering. Here is the basic plan. If you can be of assistance on this question of flight eligibility I greatly appreciate your help. We are arriving in BA on the 16Nov and will be staying about a week there. Our flight out is on the 27th. We are flying standby on the international legs so the dates are somewhat flexible. I am considering the Lake District, and possibly going further south in Patagonia. Ideally I would like to leave BA 22 or 23Nov and either pick up a rental in San Carlos de los Andes or Bariloche for 3-5 nights. Our preference would be to take the train back to Viedma on Sunday afternoon. Muchas Gracias Holly

Hi Holly, I just checked and we can offer you a flight from Buenos Aires to Bariloche for $209 per person(one way). We can also help you with the train, hotels, etc. I myself am not an expert in Argentina and I would gladly reccomend sending an email to susana@peruforless.com as she is our Argentina expert. LEt me know if you have more questions and have a nice long weekend
