Patagonia in June - a good idea?

Has anyone visited Patagonia in June? I will only have a few days and am thinking of flying from Buenos Aires to El Calafate. I want to visit Perito Moreno Glacier one day and maybe do a day tour to Torres Del Paine on the other day.

I know you can do both during the summer season, but has anyone visited in June?

hi there,

October through April is technically one of the best times to travel to Patagonia, especially if you are trekking, mountain biking or water rafting.

Having said this, regardless of the the time you travel here, the weather in Patagonia the weather is hard to predict. I would suggest to be prepared as any where in Patagonia can get sunny, rainy, or windy at anytime.
