|  best time to visit Phoenix Arizona hey guys, We're looking to getaway this summer time and we're considering a vacation to Phoenix AZ. A few things I'd like to know are (1) Is summer best time to visit Phoenix Arizona? (2) popular things to do there outdoors? thanks |

|  Re: best time to visit Phoenix Arizona hi there, Summer is one of the cheapest times to travel to the city but not the best time to visit the city if you plan to do outdoor activities. For instance, July and August is specially hot in Phoenix with temperatures surpassing over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Late summer or early fall is a great time to consider coming here, as you can catch the regular season winding down. Golf is another popular activity here also. You can golf in the summer as well if you please, though you are best off scheduling an early morning tee time if possible. |

| Re: best time to visit Phoenix Arizona I visited Phoenix in July, and I thought it was a great time to visit. It was hot...yes...but it was that famous desert heat and I didn't find it to be miserable at all. It meant you could hit the pool well after dark. And it was the off season, so the hotels were really cheap. I was able to stay in a nice resort and loved it! |
