route 66 arizona attractions

A few friends and I are planning a nostalgic tour along Northern Arizona's Route 66 and Interstate 40 to trace the original path of Route 66. what historic attractions will be along the way? anywhere in particular where to stop?

There are lots of attractions and great spots to stop along route 66 Arizona. A few of my favourites route 66 arizona attractions include:

- Petrified Forest National Park, which features ancient Indian ruins.
- Meteor Crater where a big meteor crashed over20,000 years ago.
- Walnut Canyon National Monument to see the 900 year-old cliff dwelling ruins.
- Peach Springs, which is the tribal headquarters of the Haulapai Indian Reservation.
- Kingman town, which is home to the Historic Route 66 Museum
- Oatman town, which used to be a gold mining town and now a ghost town
