Arizona Arizona is home to some of the world's natural wonders like the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and the Meteor Crater. Enjoy the sun and go white water rafting, golfing or relax in one of the many spas in Arizona. Bordered by New Mexico to the East, and California to the west it is also home to the famous Route 66.

Phoenix zoo is not too big, easily-walkable and visitor friendly. Just you need 2.5 to 3 hours to tour the whole zoo and it has animals such as orangutans, baboons, giraffes and zebras. A narrated Safari train tour is available daily and you can enjoy that too by taking photographs. As well as Sedona, Phoenix has lot to offer, so explore it and enjoy the Arizona tour. Best of luck!

It's been awhile since I left Arizona, but I grew up in Tempe not far from the zoo. The desert botanical gardens are close by the zoo and are really nice. There is also a park right by the zoo where you can do light hiking and a natural red rock arch which you can easily get to. Also around the zoo there is a nice little pond where you can relax and feed ducks. Another option is a stroll down Mill Avenue in Tempe (short drive) where there is lots of little shops and restaurants. Enjoy the zoo! As a little girl my favorite exhibit there was the alligators. I remember it being really big….but that was a while ago.
