| hey joltan7, It all depends what you're shopping for. The Gold Coast has many markets staged through out the region. You'll find a wide array of local arts and crafts. On Friday evenings you could head toward Surfers Paradise Beachfront. Then there's always the Pacific Fair just south of Surfers. If you're looking for more of a shopping centre atmosphere then head to the Australia Fair shopping center. There you'll find the normal department stores and a cinema. Then you can take in a movie after all of the shopping or beforehand to prep you for what you'd like to buy. Hope you get some great shopping done! |

| Not a problem! Glad to help. As far as factory outlets go, maybe you'd like to try the Harbour Town Regional Shopping Centre. I'm not sure where you're coming from but here's some information on how to get there. Bus Information: Bus 703 - Servicing all points from Burleigh Heads to Harbour Town. Bus 709 - Helensvale Rail Station to Harbour Town. Bus 715 - Seaworld via Southport to Harbour Town. Bus 760 - Coolangatta to Broadbeach then transfer to Bus 709 to Harbour Town. Car Travelling north from Surfers Paradise follow Highway No. 2 Gold Coast Highway (Brisbane Road to locals) to Biggera Waters. Travelling south from Brisbane on the Pacific Motorway take Exit 62 then travel for approximately 7kms (7 sets of traffic lights). Train Disembark at the Helensvale Station then catch the 709 bus to Harbour Town. A Surfside bus meets every train. Return journey - catch the 709 bus at Harbour Town bus stop to Helensvale Station. Trains run every half hour in peak times and every hour in off peak. More information can be found here. |
