|  hiking near Cairns hey guys, During our vacation in Cairns we would love to explore some of the lovely scenery in the region. Does anyone have a recommendation on hiking near Cairns? thanks |

|  Re: hiking near Cairns Hi there, The Daintree Rainforest is one of the best places near Cairns and it is located north of the city. Daintree rainforest has thousands of different plans, animals, birds, and reptiles, and hiking through the forest is one of best things to do. Having said this, make sure you don't leave the marked trails and that you travel in a small group, and be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and of course appropriate clothing and gear. hope this helps Vacationbuddy
