We're planning a trip to Austria the last week of August and I was wondering what things to do while there? Also, what's Austria's top tourist attraction?

hi there,

The Tyrolean Alps are the main attraction as it features the tallest mountain in Austria, Mt. Grossglockner, can be found in Tyrol and it is part of the high-rising Hohe Tauern range.

One great thing to do it's to take a drive through the Grossglockner High Alpine Road where you can expereince the beautiful scenery of this region.

Tyrol is also known for its pristine alpine lakes where you can do fishing such as in the town of Kossen, which is northeast of Innsbruck. If you purchase a fishing license in Kossen and head to the area lakes of Weissenbach and Kolhback you can do some trout fishing.
