Bahamas

A trip to the Bahamas can be filled with diving, golfing, and cruises. Or you can mellow the vacation to the popular resorts, tours, and even some shopping. Visit Nassau and plan a day trip swimming with the dolphins. Then party the night away on the island of New Providence. Be sure to check out neighbor islands like Freeport, Grand Bahama, and Paradise Island.

In San Salvador Bahamas , the temperature will be 64 to 84 degree F during the winter and 74 to 92 degree F during the summer. San Salvador is a small island so the lists of activities are less. But it’s paradise to snorkelers, divers and fishermen. If you don’t want to enjoy the watersports then visit the city which offers many places to see. Also you can take tours of old plantations and climb the old kerosene operated lighthouse.

Yep. Conch is a...snail. They taste good though. Especially when fried with eggs and flour.

conch is very popular in Bahammas dining, no one will miss this while their visit. It is type of sea food made from a large type of ocean mollusk and in Bahamas they called it as konk. I had this during my Bahamas trip, wow! it was delicious, but I ate uncooked conch. They scored conch meat with a knife, sprinkled lime juice and spices over the meat and served. This can also be deep-fried or steamed and added in soups or salads. don't miss this dish while you go there!

I'm not really sure. I didn't check if any particular restaurant was popular for conch the last time I visited. I'll try to ask around, though.

hi luxre, New Columbus Tavern restaurant in Victoria hill is a good place to eat and you'll get crack conch, chicken, steamed fish, bbq and pizza. I had grilled chicken here, it was nice. I tried the seafood in the seafront restaurant at Riding Rock Inn Resort, they served food with different sauces that were also very good. I ate here several times! During my Bahamas trip, I found that jerk chicken is a popular Bahamian food, i'm not sure how they prepare this, but it was very spicy and delicious. "Bahama Mamma" is a tropical drink and try this as well. It'll refresh you during your day activities in the heat and humid weather. Hope this helps!
