The Old Bahama Bay Hotel located at West End on Grand Bahama Island is accessible for disabled persons. The Sheraton Grand Bahama and Westin Grand Bahama Hotel are also disabiliy accessible. The Bahamas are flat so it is fairly easy to get around. Be careful if you decide to go to the Marketplace. Not only are they crowded but the alleys are very narrow and difficult to go through. The Bahamians are friendly and will go out of their way to make your visit a good experience.

Many of the Nassau hotels are disabled friendly, and even the Nassau International airport is fully accessible to disabled travellers. There have adapted toilets, ramps, lifts and dedicated parking spaces for disable people. Some of the Nassau hotels which have facilities for disable persons are Hotel Breezes which is located just 5 miles from Nassau International airport & 5 miles from downtown, Sheraton Cable beach resort, Wyndham resort and Nassau beach resort. Also check out Nassau hotels page for more information. Hope this helps!
