Beaches

We are cruising to the Bahamas next week and are looking for a beach to hang out on for the day. I understand that finding an open beach area may be a problem.

It all depends on how popular the beach is. As with any popular beach, you'll probably be able to find a spot...it just may be a little close to your neighbor. If you walk a bit further from the crowded areas you're bound to find your own little spot to lay out.

Destination360 has a list of Bahamas Beaches that may help you get a better idea of which beach is more populated than others so you can plan which beach is better.

From that list I think I'd try Paradise Beach just because it's out of the way and more secluded.

the are a lot of open beaches in bahamas that you can check out. like Bimini's Beaches, Paradise Island Beaches, Free Port Bahamas Beaches, Grand Bahama beaches, and Long Island beaches. All those beaches are beautiful so it's up to you which one to pick.

I second that, patricia --- once you're in the Bahamas ... every one of the beaches is beautiful.
