|  Re: traveling to Belarus hi there, Belarus was part of the Soviet block and first time travelers can expect to see many remainders of the soviet era such as heavy police presence, orderly streets, propaganda and that kind of thing. Having said this, apart from these symbols of communism, Belarus is a modern and sprouting city with hotels, cafés, nightclubs and friendly locals. |
