|  brussels to ghent how long on average is the train ride from brussels to ghent? we will be flying into brussels airport - is the train station quite close to there or do we need to take a bus to it? thanks everyone! |

|  Re: brussels to ghent If I remember well it's less than half-hour from Brussels to Ghent on the fastest trains, but Brussels Airport is at Zaventem, so that'll be about 15 minutes away from the city by the airport train. Having said this, there are some direct trains to Ghent from Brussels airport, which will get you there in just under 60 minutes, while at other times you have to change at Bruxelles-Nord. |
