|  Belize for a solo female I looked through the past questions and didn't find any posted....I'm wondering if Belize would be alright for a single female to travel to. I don't care about nightlife as I just want to lay around and relax some days and other days I want to explore ruins, hike, wildlife...etc. I'm wondering if it is safe to do these things alone or if there are tours available and if so, which ones are recommended? Thanks |

| Re: Belize for a solo female How long will you be in Belize? I'd suggest staying in Caye Caulker island or the city of Placencia as they're more touristy than other areas such as Belize City. Also, I'd advice to avoid moving around too much and to travel really light since you're traveling by yourself. I may have some suggestions for accommodations that would be safe for a single traveling woman. what's your budget? |
