family vacation at Caye Caulker

hi all, we will be at Belize city during mid December and planning a trip to Caye Caulker from Belize City, Can anyone guide us the best route and hlep us to getting there? It's our family vacation and would like to stay atleast 5 days at Caye Caulker. please suggest some Caye Caulker hotels as well to book it out. thanks in advance for any input.

Caye Caulker is located approx. 20 miles northeast from Belize City and there are many flight services available to Caye Caulker from Belize city. And if you are a budget traveller, then choose a boat service between Belize City and Caye Caulker for only US $6-$7.50 one way. Caye Caulker offers many good restaurants with wide variety of food choices, during my Belize vacation I had fresh lobster and Creole spicy stew chicken and they were delicious, hope you too like them. Diving, snorkelling and fishing are the popular things to do in Caye Caulker and most of the Caye Caulker hotels arrange dive and snorkel trips, as well as fishing excursions, so if you like to go for diving, snorkelling or fishing then enquire at front desk of the hotel in which you will stay and they will help you book it out.
