Bolivia

Myth, legends, and mystery fill Bolivia with ancient wisdom. Take a tour of Bolivia and stop at Lake Titicaca, the highest natural lake in the world. Visit the Capital city of La Paz with 21,000-foot tall peaks. Climb the mountains of Bolivia and experience the thrill of snow squalls, hidden crevasses, and thin air.

Especially like to visit Salar de Uyuni and Lake Titicaca, other than these two, what are the other places do I visit, I need only must see places with some adventure activities not normal tourist places,so really appreciate if some one from Bolivia would help on this. My trip is for 2 weeks and need a plan accordingly. many thanks.

I have been to Bolivia couple of times and visited almost all the attractions around the country. Bolivia has many things for visitors to see and do. Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt plain of Bolivia and located in the city of Uyuni.
The Lake Titicaca is a beautiful sacred lake which is located on the border between Bolivia and Peru. Apart from these two,Bolivia has many attractions[/b] including Cerro Rico, Laguna Verde, Tiahuanaco, Madidi National Park, El Fuerte de Samaipata, Copacabana Cathedral, Ambro National Park and Toro Toro National Park.

The Cerro Rico is a silver mining site in Potosí City, Laguna Verde is a famous green lake located in Uyuni, Tiahuanaco is one of the most ancient ruins of South America, Madidi National Park is located in La Paz, Bolivia's capital city and offers wide range of plants and animals to enjoy. The El Fuerte de Samaipata is an archaeological place contains walls from ancient Inca dwellings, Copacabana Cathedral has the statue of the Virgin Mary which is one of the main attractions of the town Copacabana, Ambro National Parkhas numerous wild animals and a must see wild preserve. And these are the highlights of Bolivia tour. And if you not yet booked any accommodation then just visit Bolivia hotels page and find our about the good hotels to stay. Hope this helps!

Transportation in Bolivia offers comfortable travel in and around the cities, but prices vary depends upon the level of service. Private vehicles could cost you more and the cheaper mode of transport is van or truck. Also car rental in Bolivia is also cheap. so you can rent a car to travel around but before you get into a taxi, you have to make sure about the cost of your travel.
