hello,

My wife and I are going to Brazil first time and we have decided to start in Rio de Janeiro as it seems the most touristy of the cities.

We want to hit the beaches and explore landmarks and what ever else Rio is known for. What things to do in Rio de Janeiro can u suggest?

If you are interested in art, the Museu Internacional de Arte Naif has many interesting exhibits such as primeval paintings worth checking out.

This revered statue of Jesus - Christ the Redeemer - is one landmark you can't miss out even if you could because is so massive!

Another popular things to do in Rio de Janeiro is to take a tour of the Cagarras Islands which is filled with so many fascinating wildlife.

Don't forget to check out Copacabana and Ipanema beaches as well.
