|  car rental in Rio de Janeiro I was wondering what you guys thought about car rental in Rio de Janeiro? Would you recommend it? if so, what advice can you offer me for booking a rental car hassle-free? thanks |

|  Re: car rental in Rio de Janeiro hello, I wouldn't recommend car rental in Rio de Janeiro unless you're familiar with the roads and the expense but if you determine to go ahead, here it are a few tips and things you need to know: 1) an international driver's license is needed for hiring a car in Rio de Janeiro. 2) arrange the car rental in Rio de Janeiro at the airport or through your hotel. 3) Hire a car with reputable car rental companies and avoid cheap car rentals. 4) Make sure car rental insurance is comprehensive |
