|  money saving tips in Brazil has anyone got any personal tips on ways to save you money so I won't be taken advantage of my dollar$ while in Brazil? |

| Re: money saving tips in Brazil One of the best ways to save money in Brazil and anywhere in the world is by not getting conned! Taxis do tend to con you so, the best thing to do is to flag moving taxis only. Why? Because when you get in a stationary taxi, the taxi driver likes to manipulate the meter or not turn it on at all. The same distant can cost you twice as much as a moving taxi. Also, make sure you check your restaurant bill before tipping. Why? Because, restaurants normally include their tip on the bill, so you may end up tipping the restaurant twice. |
