Bus from Floripa to Salvador

Hi there,
we would like to travel by bus from Florianopolis to Salvador in Jan 09 as flights have become to expensive .It seems impossible to book this trip with one bus company

Does anyone have any experience dealing with this issue?

There are a number of transportation options available and even you can take a bus fromFlorianopolis to Salvador. But it's a complicated way and takes 2 1/2 to 3 days, so my suggestion is better go by flight. I have traveled once from Florianopolis to Salvador by Brazil flights and the journey took only 4hrs and 25mins. The airfare was about $146 and there are many direct Brazil flights available between these two cities, just visit Brazil flights page for more information. Hope this helps!
