| Buzios is a trendy upper-class beach resort, 2 hours east from Rio . It is a tranquil and very safe destination. With its superb location on a peninsula, it has beaches on 3 sides. Buzios became famous in the sixties, when Brigitte Bardot and her boyfriend spent some time in the former fishermans' village. Since then Buzios has attracted many visitors with its natural beauty. There are many boutiques, restaurants, bars and all kinds of pousadas. The most popular beach among international tourists is the Praia Joao Fernando. Buzios' main attractions are its beaches. There is a (cheap) boat taxi service connecting most beaches (among others, between the Praia Joao Fernando and the central beach. Check it out at http://www.peruforless.com/destinati...zil-buzios.php if you want more information....how to get there, when to go, etc.

| I agree! Buzios is one of the most amazing places in the world. I live in San Diego, California and visit Buzios every winter (Dec. - March) - it reminds me of a miniature Ibiza. The food is Top Notch (Go to a place called Boom), the night life is amazing (Privilege is the best) and I met a guy who makes videos down here for some site of Buzios that opens next year. Your comment about the Taxi reminded me of it, because they have a video of the taxi's you are talking about: It will not let me post the link..... I highly recommend everyone visit the main BuziosVideos.com site anyway. |
