Wink train travel Curitiba to Iguazu

I am flying to Sao Paulo Feb 13, arriving on the 14th. My son is in Curitiba. I need to get to him by the 15th and from there we want to go to Iguazu that same day. Is there a train that travels there? I am having a hard time finding flights and ANY type of train schedule within Brazil. Any ideas or web sites? Thanks, Janee, Salt Lake City, Utah

Hello there. I would say that anyone who is wondering how to get from Curitiba to Iguazu in rapid fashion should consider flying. It is actually possible to fly from Sao Paulo to Curitiba and then from Curitaba to Iguazu. If speed is not an issue, both trains and buses connect Curitiba to Iguazu, and the 385-mile trip from Curitiba to Iguazu can also be negotiated by way of car. BR-277 is the road of choice for those who wish to drive. - - The flights fill up quickly during the peak season, it should be noted.
