Default water level at Iguassu falls

There's a rumor that the brazillian dams above Iguazu Falls strongly affect water level , and that this takes place mostly during the week. Is there any truth to this, and should it affect which days I plan to visit during november?

Hi Pangloss, I can honestly say I've never heard that rumor. The only thing I've heard affecting water level is flooding or drought. I think you'd be fine with any day in November. Also remember that most of the falls are actually in Argentina, which means the best views are from Brazil ;) Good luck!

Thanks for the input. I'll try to find something else to worry about, like how to get from El Calafate, Argentina to Torres del Paine, Chile. Guess I'll post it.

I hope everything has been as normal there. What happens during a flood?
