things to do in Sofia Bulgaria

hiya,

This July we will be heading to one of Varna's beach resorts and spend a 10 day break there. However, we wanted to visit the capital city if we can before we leave. Any ideas of things to do in Sofia Bulgaria?

hi there,

You'll definitely love a day trip to Sofia during your vacation, but I would suggest booking an organized tour, or spend the night in a hotel, as there is so much to see.

For instance, the National Historical Museum and National Archaeological Museum are great places to begin your walking tour of Sofia Bulgaria.

Also, the churches here are quite amazing like the Boyana Church and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral which is one of the world's largest Eastern Orthodox churches.
