best way to travel to Lake Tahoe

hello guys,

We're planning a 2 week vacation in Tahoe and I am wondering about the best way to travel to Lake Tahoe. Is driving easier and cheaper? what about flying?

hello,

I think that flying to Lake Tahoe is the easiest way to get to the area, even if you live within driving distance. The nearest airport will be Reno International Airport, about an hour's drive away from Lake Tahoe.

You can get daily nonstop Lake Tahoe flights from places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Portland, Las Vegas, and Seattle.

If you do decide to fly to Reno Airport, you can either use car rental or hop on a shuttle which are complimentary if you're staying in of Reno's hotels, so it's worth thinking about that.
