California

The state of California is largest state in the US. Home to Disneyland, Napa Valley wineries, the Old Faithful Geyser, and more. It has small towns like Carmel providing its unique charm and larger cities like Los Angeles. Visit Yosemite National Park, surf in the Pacific Ocean or go to one of the many ski resorts.

Default LA trip with 19 year old very trendy girls

I am taking my daughter and her friend to the Los Angeles area over their Spring Break trip. Other than checking out Cal State Fullerton, we have 7 days. They love shopping, want to do some beach time, see some things.

I have never been and I am trying to develop an itinerary that builds in lots of fun things, but don't know enough of my way around to figure out the best plan. Any help and advice would be provided.

Are there some sites that offer an opportunity for behind the scenes things or special fashion type things?

Thanks so much for your help! Feel free to email me at fluffqueen01@aol.com

Venice Beach is a must. It is an open air circus on the weekends with mimes and street acts and open air vendors.. But all the college kids go down to mexico or maybe palm springs for spring break, so you wont be seeing a classic spring break in LA. Walk by the famous Rodeo drive for shopping that you cannot afford.

Venice beach during the weekend is a must. It is a beach and an open air circus with mimes and street acts and vending stalls. Take them to a dance club at least one night. Walk the UCLA campus. See the La Brea Tar pits and the Getty museum (make reservation before you go.)
